After Eega, SS Rajamouli promoting Andala Rakshasi

Director SS Rajamouli, who is basking in the huge success of his latest release Eega, had recently announced that he would take a break to spend some time with his family before he start working on his next project. But the director is enjoying the break. Instead, he is busy promoting his next production Andala Rakshasi.
SS Rajamouli has jointly produced the movie Andala Rakshasi with Sai Korrapati. The filmmaker, who is all charged by the success of Eega, is planning for grand way to promote the movie, which is slated to hit the screens August 10. He says, "We are going to promote it in a unique way. I believe in promoting a film aggressively to reach the audiences."
Andala Rakshasi is a romance drama, which is written and directed by debutante Hanu Raghavapudi. The film features newcomers Naveen Chandra, Rahul Ravindran and Lavanya Tripathi in the leads. Radhan has composed music, while Murali handled cinematography for the movie.
However, SS Rajamouli had worked restlessly for two years on the movie Eega, which has been released as Naan Ee in Tamil and Eecha in Malayalam. The movie has got overwhelming response not only in India, but also in international market. It has crossed Rs 50 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office in the first week.

Tapsee posts Gopichand's first look in Buzkashi sequence

Hyderabad: Actor Gopichand, who can be seen with Tapsee in director Chandrasekhar Yeleti upcoming movie, is leaving no stone unturned to make it very big. Along with Tapsee, he recently shot an action scene for a Buzkashi sequence, which is going to be one of the highlights of the film.
Buzkashi is the Afghan national sport, which means goat killing. To win the game, a horse rider has to pitch a dead calf across a goal line first. Reports suggest that Chandrasekhar Yeleti has recently canned this action episode on Gopichand making Taapsee as the bait, instead of a goat's dead body. Sources from the production team say that this sequence came out really well and it will be one of the major attraction in the movie.



On her Twitter page on July 27, Tapsee Pannu posted a picture of the film and asked her fans, "Here is a pic of robinhood of our movie. hahahahaha. guess who! (sic)" The poster is the first look of the Buzkashi sequence in which Gopichand is sitting on the back of a horse in the deserts of Afghanistan.
However, this yet-to-be titled movie is being produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Sri is composing music, while Shamdat cranks the camera for the film. The movie team had taken a break from work after completing shooting for the Buzkashi sequence. They have resumed shooting in Leh on Sunday.

Nagarjuna elated over response for Shiradi Sai music

Akkineni Nagarjuna is elated over the overwhelming response for music of his upcoming movie Shirdi Sai, which was released at a grand event in Hyderabad on July 30. MM Keeravani has scored the music for the movie besides crooning a couple of songs. The actor could not stop praising and thanking the music director.
The songs of the movie Shirdi Sai have impressed the music lovers across the state. So the audio CDs of the film are selling like hot cake. Elated Nagarjuna took to his Twitter page to share his excitement. The Tollywood actor tweeted, "I am overwhelmed with the response to shiridisai songs/amararama is great song to start your morning with/thank u Keervani. 30 days to the release of shiridisai."
Shirdi Sai is the cinematic of land mark life episodes of Shirdi Sai Baba and the music will be one of the highlights in the film, which has 13 songs, 2 bit songs and a bhajan. MM Keeravani, Madhu Balakrishnan, Sunitha, Nagarjuna, Shankar Mahadevan, Shweta Pandit, Deepu, Aditi Paul, Hariharan, Malavika, SP Balasubramaniam, Sonu Nigam, Teeshanigam, Saikumar, Revanth, Rahul Sipligunj and A Chaitra have sung the songs.
Shirdi Sai is directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by Mahesh Reddy and Girish Reddy. Bhaktha Suresh Kumar has written the story, while Paruchuri Brothers have penned the dialogues for the film. Akkineni Nagarjuna is playing Shirdi Sai Baba, while Kamalini, Srikanth and Srihari appear in other important roles.

Allu Arjun's upcoming movie Julayi, which is one of the most-awaited movies of 2012, is finally all set to release in 1,600 theatres across the country on this Friday, August 9. This romance drama deals with how the life of an aimless guy changes after he falls in love with a girl. The posters and promo videos have created a lot of curiosity among the movie buffs, who are eagerly waiting to see the film. What are its highlights?
The subject of the movie may not be new, but director Trivikram Srinivas' treatment of the subject is very fresh and innovative, says a source from the production team. Allu Arjun's performance is going to be the major highlight of the film. Especially, his dance moves and action is sure to leave the audience spellbound, adds the source. Ileana D'Cruz will fill the glamour slot perfectly.
The music of Julayi, which has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, will be its second highlight. The film has five songs, which have already been successful in impressing the music lovers. Two of them have been shot in beautiful locations of Dubai. The costumes of lead pair in the songs look just super cool. The dance of the lead pair is another attraction of the songs.

Eega effect: Ganesh designed like housefly

Director SS Rajamouli's recently released movie Eega has carried away the movie buffs across the globe. Inspired by the film, several fans have created cartoons of housefly in different way. The graphical wonder has completed one month at the Box Office, but the hangover of Eega does not seem to be ending here. Now, its effect is extended to Ganesh Chaturthi.
Yes! Now, the idols of Ganesh are designed like an Eega (housefly), which has surprised none other than the villain of the film, Sudeep himself. The astonished actor took to his Twitter page to share the picture of one such idol. Besides posting the image of Ganesh, he tweeted, Hahaha....luvd ths specially designed Ganesha....nvrr bfrrrrrr...looks like SSR has changed th look of th lord too (sic)."


Ganesh Chaturthi is one of widely celebrated Hindu festivals and makers of idol create idols of the Vinayaka in different design. But this unique design of a housefly is coming as a big surprise. Rajamouli's Eega gets U/A certification from Censors




Director SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie Eega, which is one of the most-awaited movies of 2012, has cleared the formalities of the Regional Censor Board. The sci-fi thriller has received a U/A Certification without any cut. The director, who has worked very hard on this project for more than a year, is all excited over the Censors.
Elated SS Rajamouli took to his Twitter account today to share the news with his fans. The director, who was expecting the movie to get U Certification, tweeted, "Censor done and Eega is given clean U/A certification. no cuts....:) The officer explained even U/A was due to smoking shots (sic)."
Eega is a brilliant  live action graphical film, which has an animated character ‘House Fly' in the title role. The main story is that villain kills hero, who is reborn as Eega (fly). Eega happens to remember what happened in it's last birth. The rest of the story is about Eega's indomitable effort to irritate the villain and take revenge on him. It is an experimental film with mainstream emotions and financial viability.
Ashta Chemma fame Nani is playing the protagonist, while Kannada actor Sudeep appears as the antagonist. Samantha is playing the leading lady in the multilingual socio-fantasy film Eega, which has been written and directed by SS Rajamouli. The trailer and stills of the movie, which is scheduled to release on July 6, 2012, have created lot of curiosity among the movie buffs.

Ileana moved to tears on Devudu Chesina Manushulu sets


Actress Ileana D'Cruz, who recently wrapped up the shoot of her Telugu film Devudu Chesina Manushulu, was reportedly very emotional on the sets of the film on the last day of shooting. Sources from the production team claim that the popular South Indian star was said to be in tears as she walked away from the sets.
Sources say that Ileana seemed to be very sad and she left the sets with a heavy heart on the last day of the shooting of Devudu Chesina Manushulu. Her eyes were swollen and tears were rolling down her cheeks as she left the sets. While addressing the audio launch of the film, director Puri Jagannath had also confirmed her tearful moment.
But a source close to Ileana slammed the reports saying that the actress rarely shows her emotions. The source admitted that she was sad and moved to tears for a few moments, but she did not burst out crying.
However, Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannth are very jolly guys and their shooting schedules will be fun-filled works. Their team members often feel bad when shooting comes to an end. It should be recalled here that Nayantara and Trisha had also bid farewell to their cast and crew members with tears in their eyes.
